At Bloomsday session (organized by the Finnish-Irish Society Turku department and Pub Hunter's Inn) Ilkka danced and afterwards donated his shoes and a photograph of himself with the Cup of Leinster Championship to Hannu Bastman, the other owner of Hunter's Inn.
With these shoes, which can be seen on the wall of the pub nowadays, Ilkka won the Leinster Championship 22nd of November 2002.
